Update: One of the three victims from the East Grand Forks accident has succumbed to injuries.

EAST GRAND FORKS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) The Minnesota State Patrol says 1 of 3 victims in a head-on crash on Highway 220 in East Grand Forks last week has died. The Patrol say Damien Powell has passed away,
some sad news to report out of grand forks on this thursday morning uh one of the three young people who suffered life-threatening injuries has passed away according to the minnesota state patrol 16 year old damian powell has died this happened last thursday just north of east grand forks on 220 a ranger uh pickup driven by 20-year-old valentine mendoza collided head-on with an uh envoy driven by 17 year old ethan carson of grand forks his passenger was damian powell who has now passed away uh it’s believed the the other two uh people involved in this crash are still fighting for their lives here i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
