here’s another I news viewer look at those uh propane tanks on fire by construction uh by the old UND football field in Grand Forks on Tuesday afternoon just talk with pellan Chief Chuck marot who says that would have been a very significant explosion if those tanks would have gone a quick action by gr Fork firefighters cooled down the tanks they got the fire out caused was some broken fittings on the tank and a nearby heat source uh caused the fire uh just to give you an idea how big of an explosion that could have been uh here’s a look at a a video in Grand Rapids Michigan from a security camera of what happened when just a homes siiz propane tank blew up now as you can see that packed a wallup and here at UND D there were two 2,000 gallon propane tanks together again luckily no injuries firefighters got things under control quickly and no big damage I’m Neil Berg reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
