A 17 yr old boy distracted by his cell phone crashed into my sister's car. She lasted three weeks in the hospital. The 17 yr old had a hard time with everything. Had my sister not been behind the school bus, the 17 yr old would have been under the bus. I lost my sister but I am her advocate about cellphones and driving. 💔
Why is someone that is responsible for someone's death only being charged as a juvenile when they are 17? Anything involving a death of an individual should automatically be charged as an adult if more than 14 years old.
