UPDATE: Gun Employed in Teen Altercation Near Grand Forks Library

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A juvenile was arrested for hitting another juvenile with a firearm during a fight by the Grand Forks Library Thursday afternoon.
we have an update to our story regarding a fight by the Grand Forks Public Library on Thursday afternoon police now say a firearm was involved this from Sergeant ebertowski on Thursday at 3 52 p.m police were dispatched to the library for a disturbance involving a firearm several witnesses described a fight that took place on the west side of the library between several individuals one of the suspects brandished a firearm and used the weapon to strike the victim in the head causing a laceration the suspects in this incident are juveniles therefore their identities will not be released the firearm believed to have been used in this incident was recovered at this time all the suspects have been identified there are no known threats to the public the victim was treated at Ultra ER for non-life-threatening injuries and released Grand Forks Police Department criminal investigation Bureau was called in to assist with the investigation charges are pen and have been filed this is an open and ongoing investigation anyone with information or may have witness to the incident is encouraged to contact the Grand Forks Police Department that was from Sergeant ebertowski now also yesterday I talked with the library director Wendy Wendt who says they could see the fight out the back window and called 9-1-1 they did lock down for a short time but reopened as soon as uh police were on the scene I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
