🔥 Firefighters from Grand Forks Air Force Base, Gilby, Manville, Emerado, Thompson, and Laramore battled the flames for hours. The fire, originally a controlled burn gone wrong, spread rapidly, consuming over a mile of cropland and wildlife area before crews could get it under control.
GOOD NEWS: No Structures Reported Damaged
Despite initial concerns, there are no confirmed reports of structures being burned. The fire was dangerously close to a farmstead near Gilby, but it appears firefighters successfully prevented any major losses.
🚒 Fire Crews Being Released
