we now have a surveillance video of a possible attempted robbery suspect sent in by an eye news viewer uh the information and video is also in the hands of grand forks police who say this morning at 6 03 a.m a male victim was walking home in the 300 block here on north washington street when he was approached from behind by a suspect wearing a red black and green sweatshirt and blue jeans who claimed to be armed with a handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet um the victim ran got away and was able to flee into the nearby convenience store and report the incident uh the suspect will show it to you up close here from another angle was last seen in the area of 4th avenue north in north washington walking westbound officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect he’s described as a black male 510 to 6-2 with a very slender build in his early 20s again a suspect here a possible suspect in this attempted robbery in grand forks early on this saturday morning if you have any information you’re asked to call grand forks police at 701 787-8000 i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
