Neil Berg here on the phone with me as Kim green doll of the Grand Forks green way talk about a few things here today one thing is there’s now security it hasn’t been a big problem there but tell folks what’s going on basically what people are seeing is a private security company that we have hired for a limited time to have a presence at the North and South pedestrian bridges we have had an increase of youth on ATVs dirt bikes and golf carts coming throughout the green right both sides of the river and they’re not allowed down there they we’ve had some interactions with other Greenway users so we decided to just have a presence a limited time and hopefully that will inform and educate some of these riders that ATVs sell carts your bikes are not allowed down in any way all right we’re getting into the heart of summer here what’s coming up down there um not too many events this year just because of the kovat but we do have a user group meeting tonight I always love to hear from people we’re going to meet down at 6 o’clock down by the obelisk in downtown Grand Forks get to see some events coming up maybe in excuse me August August yeah so hopefully we will be able to work out the logistics about how to do that safely with all of the things going on with coalbed 19 so whatever no matter whatever events I mean it’s open to the public and it’s a great way to get out and see the outdoors and Grand Forks on either side of the river absolutely and the boathouse is open on weekends so you can even get out on the river and check things out from a different view alright thanks for talking to me absolutely you have a great day youtube later
