UPDATE: Downtown Grand Forks Apartment Building Engulfed in Flames

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) We have an update regarding a Saturday morning fire at a downtown Grand Forks apartment building. Officials say heavy smoke and water damage to the third floor. No injuries in the fire called in around 11:15 a.m. Saturday.
Neil Berg here in Downtown Grand 4 from South 4th Street with an update on an apartment fire uh this started on the third floor above sledsters bar I we a report of uh fire on the third floor of the apartments above sleders on South Fourth Street Cru arrived on scene they did note smoke showing from the back side of the building entered found a fire on the third floor and we’re able to extinguish it pretty quickly before extend it further okay was it in an apartment or the h in the in in one of the apartments uh anybody injured no everybody’s been evacuated safely okay uh any idea what started it or not as of right now uh we have a fire marshal on scene that’s starting a cause an investigation cause an orang investigation was it much fire damage or uh there’s some significant fire smoke damage on the third floor with some water damage throughout the building as you heard significant smoke and water damage especially on the third floor of the building no word yet on how many people this fire may have displaced I’m Neil Berg reporting for in trfnews.i234.me
