UPDATE: Dog Attack Near Grand Forks Unlikely to be Mountain Lion

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A person with knowledge of the situation says it likely wasn’t a Mountain Lion that attacked a dog …
we have an update regarding our friday morning report of a mountain lion possibly attacking dogs by the thompson bridge south of grand forks it now sounds like one dog was attacked and uh is recovering and it doesn’t sound like it was a mountain lion now an avid hunter who’s close to the situation and knows all about tracking says the dogs were attacked by a member of the dog family meaning a wolf coyote or another dog they all walk with their claws out cats including mountain lions bobcats and others walk with their claws tucked in the photo on the left shows a track at the scene where the dogs were attacked you can clearly see claw marks in the print indicating someone from the dog family wolf coyote or another dog the tracks also show only two lobes in the paw not three like a mountain lion i’m Neil Berg reporting for eye news dot tv

  1. Picky, picky I know, but 'coyote' is two syllables, no long 'e' at the end, at least according to the University of South Dakota. For what it's worth… And you gotta admit that "Go 'Yoties" does sound ridiculous.
