UPDATE: Cleaning Up After Costly Grand Forks Mishap

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A towing company was working to get a couple wheels on a combine that fell off a semi. Scene is cleared.
we have an update now on this very expensive accident in Grand Forks about five o’clock on this uh Thursday evening just talked with Sergeant Pemberton at the Grand Forks Police Department who says the semi driver was leaving the Simonson’s uh Travel Plaza along I-29 and going to head West on Gateway Drive Highway 2 here when apparently another vehicle got in his Lane he swerved a bit the trailer hit the curb and the momentum of it all knocked this combine off the trailer um at this point he says Interstate Towing was trying to get a couple of the tires uh onto the combine so they could uh pull it up on a trailer it was being hauled on the semi-trailer with the wheels off to be uh strapped down uh nobody injured injured in the crash but uh it’s going to take some considerable dollars to fix the damage I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me

  1. While this should never happen, I have hauled these, there isn't real good tie down points on combines, no matter the color. The companies should have more tie downs built in.
