Unattended Cooking Sparks Fire in Grand Forks Home, Residents Displaced

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – An update on the Tuesday night fire in Grand Forks: Fire crews were dispatched to 91 Parkview Circle just after 6:00 PM following reports of smoke alarms. Upon arrival, firefighters found active flames on the first floor and smoke filling the residence. The fire was quickly extinguished, with damage primarily contained to the kitchen area. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental, resulting from unattended cooking. Due to the damage, the occupants of the home have been displaced and are currently being assisted by family members.
