LENGBY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A two-vehicle crash occurred late Thursday afternoon on Highway 2, just east of Fosston at the Lengby turnoff.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident took place at 5:25 p.m. when a Nissan Altima, driven by 20-year-old Kaden Dwayne Sanford of Fosston, crossed the highway and collided with a Volkswagen pickup driven by 58-year-old Darren Richard Kappedal of Bagley, Minnesota.

Sanford was uninjured and was wearing his seat belt.

Capal, however, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Bagley ER.

Authorities confirmed that alcohol was not a factor, and both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the collision.
