POPE CO., Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) – Two people died in a head-on crash in Pope County on Saturday night.
Minnesota State Patrol reports that 33-year-old Isaac Carlson of Glenwood, Minnesota, was driving westbound on Highway 28 when he collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by 39-year-old Nicholas Bergman of Oakdale, Minnesota.
The accident occurred around 7:40 p.m. near the intersection with County Road 57.
Both men died at the scene. They were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
