St. Cloud (trfnews.i234.me) – Authorities have issued nationwide arrest warrants for two men accused of brutally sexually assaulting a St. Cloud State University student in her dorm room in the early hours of November 1.
SUSPECTS ON THE RUN:
Dipak Phayal, 20 – Charged with first- and third-degree criminal sexual conduct and aiding and abetting criminal sexual conduct
Sujan Tamang, 19 – Facing multiple counts of first-degree aiding and abetting sexual assault
According to court records, the men forced their way into the victim’s dorm room on First Avenue South before sexually assaulting her. Surveillance footage captured them switching clothing in the dorm lobby after the attack. Hours later, an Instagram account under “Dipak Phuyal” messaged the victim, asking about her condition.
DNA EVIDENCE has linked both suspects to the crime, but they have since fled Minnesota, and authorities warn there is a high likelihood they will not respond to court summons.
Authorities urge anyone with information to contact law enforcement immediately.
