Two injured after vehicle veers off Richland County roadway

CHRISTINE, ND ( – According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling northbound on Interstate 29, just north of the Christine exit. The vehicle veered off the roadway and struck the median.

  • Two passengers in the backseat, not wearing safety belts, were ejected from the vehicle. One required transportation via Sanford AirMed to a hospital for treatment.
  • Two occupants in the front seat, wearing seatbelts, escaped injury.
  • Northbound traffic was diverted off the interstate for approximately 45 minutes while ambulances attended the scene
