Two individuals taken into custody after extensive police presence reported in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Two people have been arrested, following a large police presence on the south end of Grand Forks later Friday afternoon.
we have an update now regarding that large police presence on the south end of grand forks late on this friday afternoon two people arrested uh this now in from grand forks police today at 3 19 p.m they were dispatched to a disturbance call at the 600 block of 41st avenue south officers received information from dispatch there was a report of a weapon being involved upon arriving on scene officers observed a male and female outside of a residence officers witnessed the male holding a handgun and he threw it into a garage the male then went into a residence officers were able to communicate with the female who was still outside the residence after a period of time the male voluntarily came out to speak with officers after speaking with the victim and gathering evidence on the scene officers arrested rolanda garza jr age 33 of grand forks garza jr was charged with terrorizing and transported to the grand forks county correctional center while still on scene the female threatened a male who had just arrived on scene the female was identified as macon davis age 41 of grand forks davis was arrested for disorderly conduct davis is also confined to the grand forks county jail grand forks police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has additional information that they contact the police department at 701-787-8000 i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
