Thief River Falls Vehicle Fire
At approximately 5:00 PM, the Thief River Falls Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle fire at 914 Pleasant Avenue. The fire was confined to the engine compartment of a car parked in the driveway. The homeowner extinguished the fire using snow before the fire department arrived. No injuries were reported, and the damage was limited to the vehicle.
Roosevelt House Fire
Shortly after the first incident, a house fire was reported in Roosevelt, Minnesota, located on Highway 11 between Warroad and Baudette. Upon arrival, firefighters determined that the fire was limited to a hedge outside the house. The fire was quickly extinguished, preventing damage to the residence. No injuries were reported.
Both incidents were promptly addressed by local fire departments, ensuring minimal damage and no casualties.
