The tragic incident unfolded on Saturday, March 30, 2024, around 11:52 PM CT, near the intersection of 67th Street NW and 110th Ave NW, approximately 5 miles west of Tioga. A Chevrolet Suburban, driven by Dylan Chamley, found itself in a catastrophic collision with an eastbound Amtrak train.

The Suburban was tragically stopped on the railroad tracks, facing westward, when the oncoming train collided with it head-on. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn, coming to rest on the north side of the railroad tracks. Regrettably, Dylan Chamley was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene.
