GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A devastating incident near Grand Forks Airport has resulted in the loss of a six-year-old child. Charges against 43-year-old Travis Dean Bell, who crashed his pickup into a Ford Focus, are anticipated to be elevated. The collision occurred on a Highway near the airport at 6:41 p.m. Monday. The child, along with 26-year-old Nicole Loane, sustained severe injuries. Despite being airlifted to a Minneapolis hospital, the child tragically succumbed. Bell claimed he believed he had a green light but couldn’t recall much. Witnesses reported he didn’t decelerate before the crash. Subsequent alcohol testing revealed a reading of 0.12, exceeding the legal limit. Bell faces two felony charges of criminal vehicular injury, pending the upgraded charges.
