According to Cass County Sheriff received a report of a missing adult male at 5:31 p.m. in the city of Pine River. The man had left a residence to swim in the Pine River but did not return.
Pine River Police responded promptly and initiated a search. The search efforts concluded when the victim was found deceased in the Pine River at 7:13 p.m. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Assisting at the scene were the Pine River Police Department and Pine River Fire Department.
