The aircraft, a SOCATA TBM-700 registered as N721MB, had departed from Des Moines International Airport in Iowa and was en route to Anoka County-Blaine Airport in Minneapolis when it crashed into a home, igniting a large fire. All occupants of the plane were killed, and the residents of the home were uninjured.

Terry Dolan, 63, served as Vice Chair and Chief Administration Officer at U.S. Bancorp. His brother, Mike Dolan, expressed profound grief over the loss, stating, “He’s going to be missed a lot.”
Emergency Response
Emergency responders arrived promptly, battling the fire and ensuring nearby structures were protected. Evacuations were initiated as a precaution due to the presence of an electric vehicle inside the garage, which complicated suppression efforts.
