Thief River Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – On May 31 at 5:32 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Highway 59 and 144th Street Northeast. Brock Damon Newland, 56, of Warren, was charged with gross misdemeanor fifth-degree controlled substance crime and driving after revocation.
According to the complaint, Newland displayed indicators of impairment during the stop. Despite a preliminary breath test result of 0.00, Newland allegedly admitted to using meth a couple of weeks prior. A search of Newland’s vehicle revealed two pills of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine, classified as Schedule II controlled substances.
