GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — Police have released new details regarding a serious two-vehicle crash that occurred Monday afternoon in Grand Forks, leaving three people injured.
According to the Grand Forks Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 2:46 p.m. to a rollover accident at the intersection of 32nd Avenue South and Columbia Road. The crash involved a Subaru Outback and a Honda CR-V.
Investigators determined that the Subaru Outback was traveling southbound on Columbia Road and crossing 32nd Avenue when it was struck by the eastbound Honda CR-V. The impact caused the Subaru to roll at least once before landing upright on its tires.
The driver and passenger of the Honda CR-V, along with the driver of the Subaru, were all transported to Altru Hospital for medical treatment. Police say the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has additional information to contact the Grand Forks Police Department. The investigation into the cause of the collision remains ongoing.
Traffic in the area was temporarily disrupted as crews worked to clear the scene and assist those involved.
