Thompson, North Dakota: Dollar General Confirms Store Closure Amid Companywide Review

Thompson, North Dakota (trfnews.i234.me) — Dollar General has officially announced it will permanently close its store located at 810 Broadway Street in Thompson, North Dakota by the end of April.

In an official statement to TRF News, the company said:

“At Dollar General, we continually evaluate our stores and how we can best serve our customers. As part of a recent companywide store review, we decided to close our location at 810 Broadway Street in Thompson, North Dakota. Impacted employees will have the opportunity to transfer to nearby stores, and the store is expected to close by the end of April.”

Dollar General also reassured the community that it will continue operations at its three other locations in Grand Forks County, where the brand has been present for more than eight years.

The closure follows a larger corporate review process aimed at adjusting Dollar General’s nationwide footprint.
