THIEF RIVER FALLS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Misty Myhrer, a woman from Thief River Falls, has been convicted of 4th-degree arson for setting her apartment on fire following a night of drinking in January.
Initially charged with 1st-degree arson, Myhrer received credit for one week served in jail and faces no further incarceration unless she violates her two-year probation.
Court records reveal that her boyfriend called the police, reporting that Myhrer had “lit the place on fire.”
At the time of the incident, two children were safely removed from the apartment.
Myhrer was found with a lighter when taken into custody.
