Carter Allen Horgeshimer, 18, of Thief River Falls, received a stay of adjudication. The charge was felony fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle.

With a stay, the court does not enter a conviction now. The case can be dismissed if the terms are met.

Horgeshimer received supervised probation for three years. The order also required 40 hours of community work service.

The court ordered a comprehensive assessment within 60 days. He must complete any treatment and aftercare that is recommended.

The record also lists a DNA sample requirement.

Other Thief River Falls Police Department cases

Chase Donald Nomeland, 29, of Thief River Falls, was sentenced on two domestic assault counts. Both were listed as subsequent violations.

Each count carried 364 days in jail. The court stayed 274 days on each count.

The sentences run at the same time. The record shows credit for 48 days served.

Nomeland received supervised probation for two years. A Domestic Abuse No Contact Order was set for two years.

He must complete a batterers’ intervention program. The order also bans firearm and ammunition possession.

Nomeland was also sentenced for second-degree DWI for test refusal. The court stayed 274 days of a 364-day term for four years.

One more domestic assault count was dismissed. Two property damage counts were also dismissed.

Preston Jeffery Olson, 36, of Thief River Falls, received a continued stay of adjudication on a domestic assault charge. The bulletin lists a $50 fine and one year of court probation.

Dale Duane Opdahl, 57, of Thief River Falls, received a continued stay of adjudication. The case involved a school bus stop-arm violation. The bulletin lists a $100 fine and one year of unsupervised probation.

Other traffic cases included expired registration tickets. Owen Benjamin Eitreim, 19, of Corcoran, was fined $115. Brady Nolan Finseth, 30, of McIntosh, was also fined $115.

Minnesota State Patrol and DNR cases

State Patrol entries included speeding and seat belt violations. Chris Raymond Hagman, 47, of Modesto, California, was cited for 94 in a 60 zone. The fine listed was $385.

Michael Edward Ferguson, 21, of Salol, was cited for no seat belt. The fine listed was $110.

J. Webster Teah Menorwah, 40, of Grand Forks, North Dakota, was cited for 65 in a 60 zone. The fine listed was $125.

Heidi Jo Cavanaugh, 36, of St. Michael, North Dakota, also had a 65 in a 60 citation. The fine listed was $125.

Jayden Rose Iverson, 23, of Thief River Falls, had a no proof of insurance charge dismissed.

Darin Mikkel Bertilrud, 45, of Greenbush, was cited for a snowmobile registration violation. The fine listed was $135.

Christopher Dean Hodges, 36, of Thief River Falls, was cited in an ATV youth helmet case. The fine listed was $135.
