What Happened
Police said the crash involved two vehicles in the parking lot area near the drive-through lane. Alice Jobe of Plummer was backing a 1999 Toyota Camry out of a parking spot when the vehicle struck a 2019 GMC Acadia.
The GMC Acadia was driven by Emily Tinkham of Thief River Falls. At the time of the crash, Tinkham was stopped in the drive-through lane, according to the report.
The incident was reported during a busy part of the day at the restaurant. Parking lots and drive-through lanes can become tight spaces, especially during lunch hours. Even low-speed crashes in those areas can lead to damage and traffic backups.
Drivers Identified
Authorities identified the drivers as Alice Jobe, of Plummer, and Emily Tinkham, of Thief River Falls. The report did not say that either driver left the scene or needed emergency transport.
