Thief River Falls: Mark Delage Passes Away, 61

Thief River Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) β€” Mark Alan Delage, 61, died on December 31, 2025.

His family said he died at Sanford Thief River Falls Medical Center.

Delage was born on March 4, 1964, in Thief River Falls.

He was the son of Harvey Delage and Rose (Sorenson) Delage.

Life and work

Delage attended Knox Elementary and Franklin Middle School.

He later graduated from Lincoln High School, according to his family.

In the mid-1980s, he joined a traveling sales crew.

Scott Reay and Staci Reay recruited him, his family said.

He traveled widely and sold soap in many states.

Family members said he was known for a smooth radio voice.

Delage later spent more than 30 years at Northern Pride, Inc. in Thief River Falls.

He started in a temporary role, his family said.

He moved into a leadership job as packaging manager.

Federal records list the plant as a USDA-inspected facility.

Family and community

Delage married Cally Wilson on February 3, 2001.

The wedding was held at Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls.

The couple raised two daughters, Eleanor and Ava.

His family said he took pride in his home and yard.

They said he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling.

They also said he loved music and karaoke.

Delage is survived by his wife, Cally, and their daughters.

He is also survived by his mother, Rose Delage, of Thief River Falls.

Survivors include his sister, Bonnie (Dave) Upham, of Fargo.

His family also listed many in-laws, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Delage.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Delage.

His family also listed his brother-in-law, Luke Dingman, as deceased.

Service details

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2026.

The service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls.

Visitation is planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2026.

A prayer service is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday.

Both events will be at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls.

Visitation is also planned one hour before Friday’s service.

  1. So sorry to see this! I always enjoyed Mark and will never forget making him sing to me during the dollar dance at our wedding. Thinking of Cally, the girls and his entire family and friends.
