A Thief River Falls man, 50-year-old Dean John Lubitz, was injured in a single-vehicle semi accident on Monday in Pennington County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Lubitz was driving a 2022 Mack Semi when the vehicle veered off Highway 1 at 110th Avenue Northwest in Norden Township, just before noon.
Lubitz, who was wearing a seat belt at the time, was taken to Sanford Thief River Falls for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
