Thief River Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Reginald Bernard King, 40, of Thief River Falls, was arrested on July 12 after a traffic stop near the intersection of Fifth Street and Main Avenue.
According to the police report, officers observed King behind the wheel of a vehicle despite not having a valid driver’s license. When confronted about not having a license, King allegedly responded, “Take me to jail.”
King showed indicators of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. A preliminary breath test and DMT test both revealed a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of 0.22, well over the legal limit.
King was charged with third-degree DWI and driving without a license. He was taken into custody following the arrest.
