Thief River Falls (trfnews.i234.me) — Police in Thief River Falls responded to a reported domestic assault on Dec. 25. The call came in at 11:15 a.m., according to police.
Police said the incident was reported at Sherwood Park Townhomes.
Citation and arrest
Ruben Jose Yrigoyen, 35, of Thief River Falls, was cited for domestic assault, police said. Police also said Yrigoyen was arrested.
Allegations in the report
Police said Yrigoyen allegedly assaulted a woman. Police said a boy was also allegedly assaulted.
It was not known if either person sought medical treatment.
What happens next
A citation is not a conviction. The case may still move through the court process.
