Medical response

Daniels was transported by ambulance after the crash. She was taken to Sanford Thief River Falls Medical Center, according to the report.

No other injury details were released in the report summary. The extent of vehicle damage was also not listed.

Citations issued

Brockhouse was cited for failure to yield, police said. Minnesota law requires drivers turning left to yield to oncoming traffic. The rule is outlined in Minnesota Statute 169.20.

Daniels was cited for an expired driver’s license, according to the report. Driver’s license renewal information is posted by the Minnesota Department of Motor Vehicles.

A citation is not a conviction. Each case is handled through the court process.

How to get a crash report

Minnesota drivers can request an official crash record through the state. The Minnesota Department of Public Safety explains the process here: Request a crash report.
