Thief River Falls ( trfnews.i234.me ) –Â Police in Thief River Falls responded to a two-vehicle crash on August 12 at 9:52 a.m. The collision happened at the intersection of Third Street and Atlantic Avenue.
According to the report, Wanda Schuster was driving a 2020 Cadillac XT4 at the time of the accident. Her vehicle struck a 2016 Ford F-150 driven by Sheila Erickson of Thief River Falls.
Authorities said Erickson’s pickup was in the turn lane on Third Street when the Cadillac collided with it. Both drivers remained at the scene following the crash.
No injuries were reported, but police confirmed Erickson was cited for driving after revocation.
Traffic crashes at intersections are among the most common types of collisions in Minnesota. According to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, driver inattention and failure to yield often play a role in these accidents.
Officials remind drivers to remain alert and cautious, especially when approaching busy intersections or turn lanes.
