Thief River Falls Court Roundup: Fines, Jail, DWI
Thief River Falls (trfnews.i234.me) — Recent Pennington County court cases included domestic assault, DWI, traffic violations and disorderly conduct.
The cases involved the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota State Patrol and Thief River Falls Police Department.
Pennington County Sheriff’s Office Cases
Zoey Gail Fish, 22, of Roseau, was sentenced in two domestic assault cases.
Each case included a $50 fine and 90 days in jail.
Fish received credit for two days already served.
She was also placed on supervised probation for two years.
Conditions include domestic abuse counseling, treatment aftercare and anger management programming as directed by probation.
Fish must also complete a comprehensive assessment within 60 days.
She must follow recommended treatment and meet with mental health professionals.
Fish was also sentenced for third-degree driving while impaired.
The court record lists a $485 fine and 364 days in jail.
She was placed on supervised probation for two years under similar conditions.
A felony domestic assault by strangulation charge against Fish was dismissed.
Bryan McCauley Gregory, 32, of Thief River Falls, received a stay of adjudication.
The case involved driving after revocation.
Gregory was ordered to pay $125 and remain on court probation for one year.
He must reinstate his driving privileges within one year and provide proof to court administration.
Minnesota State Patrol Cases
Julian Charlie Gill Barten, 23, of Winnipeg, was convicted of careless driving and speeding 91 mph in a 60 mph zone.
The listed fines were $185 and $300.
Devin Ray Alkire, 25, of Thief River Falls, was fined $125 for driving 60 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Tyler Steven Jaggars, 24, of Shakopee, was fined $135 for driving 53 mph in a 40 mph zone.
Matthew Thomas Vesely, 48, of Hutchinson, was fined $125 for driving 63 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Kara Jean Forst, 51, of Greenbush, was fined $125 for driving 69 mph in a 60 mph zone.
James Andrew Gaalaas, 38, of Thief River Falls, was fined $110 for not wearing a seat belt.
Thief River Falls Police Cases
Aaron Orrin Anderson, 40, of Thief River Falls, was fined $135 for making a false emergency call.
He received 30 days in jail, stayed for one year.
Anderson was also placed on unsupervised probation for one year.
A public nuisance charge against Terry Michael Fayette, 69, of Thief River Falls, was dismissed.
Shawn Troy Rainey, 54, of Thief River Falls, was fined $135 for disorderly conduct.
He received 30 days in jail, stayed for one year.
Rainey must complete an assessment and follow recommended treatment and aftercare.
