Thief River Falls (trfnews.i234.me) — A Cohasset man is charged with third-degree DWI after a traffic stop in Thief River Falls. Court records say two breath tests later showed a 0.22 result.
Darrin John Anderson, 39, of Cohasset, has been charged with third-degree DWI. He was arrested, according to the complaint.
Traffic stop near Highway 59
According to the complaint, police performed a traffic stop on Jan. 3 near the intersection of Highway 59 and First Street.
The complaint says the vehicle had a revoked registration. It also says the driver was weaving into a turning lane at the time of the stop.

Signs of impairment are alleged
The complaint says Anderson’s eyes were watery. It also says his movements were sluggish.
Anderson recalled receiving a letter about needing new tabs, according to the complaint.
When asked about drinking, Anderson allegedly said he had a “beer and a half,” according to the complaint.
The complaint says he failed field sobriety tests.
Breath test results
According to the complaint, Anderson provided a Preliminary Breath Test. He later provided a DMT breath test.
The complaint says both tests showed a result of 0.22 blood alcohol content.
What happens next
Charges are not proof of guilt. A defendant is presumed innocent unless convicted in court.
