Thief River Falls Bus Driver Exonerated of All Charges

THIEF RIVER FALLS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A Thief River Falls, Minnesota bus driver has been cleared of any wrong doing, after a student claimed assault.
the 63 year old Thief River Falls bus driver Joel Khizar has been cleared of any wrongdoing and a charge of misdemeanor assault has been dismissed Kezar was charged following a March 13th incident on his bus a juvenile student reported he witnessed Khizar choke a student but in Khizar statement to authorities he said that’s not what happened he told authorities the student was a big problem on the bus and he simply put his hand on his shoulder and pushed him back down on his seat the County Attorney’s Office agreed with Khizar and the charge has been dismissed I also spoke with Superintendent of Schools Bradley Bergstrom who says they also did an extensive investigation of the incident and that’s why Khizar was never removed from his position in so many words he didn’t do anything wrong Khizar was put it on a different route from the student involved in the incident Bergstrom says the bus did not have surveillance video I’m Neil Berg reporting for i-news dot TV

  1. I think it is way past time for TRF schools to REQUIRE video surveillance cameras on ALL buses! This is seriously outrageous that they believe the driver over the victim and two (if memory serves) witnesses as well as picture proof of marks on the child's neck. SMDH! SAD!

  2. Riding the School Bus is a privilege not a right . When a student breaks a rule and NOT listen to the BUS DRIVER who is in charge Ban the privilege of riding alone .Then at least one Parent must "BABYSIT" their SWEETIE on board the BUS.
