Thief River Falls (trfnews.i234.me) — Police responded to a crash on Dec. 15 at 5 p.m. The crash happened at Eighth Street and Atlantic Avenue.
What happened
Kern Larson, of Holt, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, according to the report.
Megan Hall, of Thief River Falls, was driving a 1999 Ford Expedition, the report said.
Police said both vehicles were stopped at a stop sign at the intersection.
At that time, a westbound semi driver made a sharp turn south onto Atlantic Avenue.
The report did not identify the semi driver.
The report did not list contact between the semi and either vehicle.
After the semi turned, Larson backed the Suburban and hit Hall’s Expedition, police said.
