Minneapolis (trfnews.i234.me) — A terrifying two-day robbery spree swept across Minneapolis, leaving residents shaken after 13 violent incidents, including multiple assaults and a brutal carjacking, occurred from Sunday, March 23 to Monday, March 24. Police believe the same group of juveniles, already known to law enforcement, may be behind both crime patterns.
Pattern One: Sunday Morning (March 23)
Five robberies took place in just 15 minutes between 2:42 a.m. and 2:57 a.m. in Southeast and Northeast Minneapolis. Victims were ambushed and had items like credit cards, wallets, and cash stolen. Suspects fled in grey or gold sedans and were described wearing black hoodies, North Face jackets, and Nike shoes.
Pattern Two: Monday Evening (March 24)
Eight more robberies followed after a black Kia Sportage was stolen. Crimes included pistol-whippings, assaults, and a carjacking of a silver BMW. Suspects used black or silver SUVs, and one female was reported among the attackers.
