MINOT, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – On Saturday evening, the Minot Police Department responded to a tense situation at a hotel on 22nd Avenue Northwest. Reports indicated a man wielding a firearm was pursuing another individual. Upon arrival, officers confronted the suspect, Larron T. Lewis, 45, but he barricaded himself in his room, defying commands to surrender. After over an hour of negotiation, the SWAT team intervened, and Lewis was apprehended at approximately 11:56 p.m. He now faces charges of terrorizing and illegal firearm possession and is held at Ward County Jail. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident, with assistance provided by the Ward County Sheriff’s Office.
