Suspect Apprehended After Stabbing Incident in Aurora

AURORA, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A dramatic scene unfolded in Aurora as police swiftly responded to reports of a stabbing at 16 Main St N. on Sunday afternoon. Upon arrival, authorities discovered a 63-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen.

The suspect, identified as a 27-year-old woman, fled the scene, prompting the East Range Police Department to issue a warning for residents in the vicinity to stay indoors.

A tense search ensued, with law enforcement setting up a perimeter and utilizing K9 units to track down the suspect. Finally, at approximately 4:45 p.m., the woman was apprehended in a wooded area near the scene.

Fortunately, the woman sustained only minor injuries during her arrest. Meanwhile, the male victim was airlifted to a hospital in Duluth, although his current condition remains unknown.

Residents in the area have been given the all-clear to resume normal activities, but the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
