Stearns County, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) — On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at approximately 8:36 p.m., a single-vehicle crash occurred on northbound Highway 23 near mile marker 179 in Munson Township. A 2020 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 77-year-old Eugene Allen Wold of Cold Spring, struck a deer on the roadway. Wold sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to CentraCare – Paynesville Hospital for treatment. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, and alcohol was not a factor. The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the incident.
