Stearns County (trfnews.i234.me) — A crash on Interstate 94 near Sauk Centre blocked both westbound lanes late Wednesday morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash happened on the westbound I-94 near milepost 124. It was reported at about 10:22 a.m. on September 24, 2025.
Troopers say both westbound lanes were blocked after the crash. No injuries were reported.
Westbound traffic was detoured off I-94 at Highway 71 in Sauk Centre. Drivers used local roads to get around the closure while crews worked at the scene.
The crash happened in Sauk Centre Township in Stearns County, a busy stretch of I-94 in central Minnesota. Traffic was slowed and backed up as vehicles were routed onto the detour.
The State Patrol remained on scene to investigate the crash and help manage traffic. Tow trucks and road crews also responded to clear the roadway.
Officials again urged drivers to slow down and pay attention in work and crash zones. Extra caution is needed when traffic suddenly stops or shifts to a detour route.
