ST. THOMAS, North Dakota (trfnews.i234.me) – The North Dakota Sex Offender Registry lists Juan J. Martinez, 46, as a lifetime registered offender following a conviction in Wisconsin for child sexual assault.
According to court records, Martinez was convicted in Kenosha District Court, Wisconsin, of first-degree child sexual assault involving sexual contact.
The case description states that Martinez, while intoxicated, entered the bedroom of a 9-year-old boy, kissed him, and touched his genitals. The child later reported the incident to a teacher at school, leading to the criminal investigation and charges.
Martinez was sentenced to six years, with 164 days to serve, and an additional six years of supervised probation. Because of the seriousness of the offense, he is required to remain on the sex offender registry for life.
Registry records describe Martinez as a Hispanic or Latino male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. His risk level is listed as moderate.
Notable tattoos recorded include the word “Estraphe” on his back, a tattoo reading “Prison” on his shoulder, and flames on his wrist.
His current residence is listed as 223 5th Avenue South, St. Thomas, ND, in Pembina County.
Officials emphasize that the North Dakota sex offender registry is a public safety tool, but warn that it is illegal to misuse registry information to harass or target offenders.
