South winds at 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph can be
expected along the Canadian border over northeast North Dakota and
northwest Minnesota through the late morning. These strong winds
are not associated with severe thunderstorms, but occasionally
occur after the passage of thunderstorms and may last for up to an
hour before weakening.
