Someone dropped the beets, but forgot to leave their name on the track.
Late last night, a truck lost its load of sugar beets near Casselton, leaving quite the mess on County Road 10 near the Tharaldson Ethanol Plant.
A nearby farmer with a tractor offered to help our trooper clear the roadway. In about five minutes, the road was back open!
We appreciate the farmer who stepped up to help. As for the driver who lost the load, we’re still trying to find out who produced this hit. Give us a ring at 701-328-2447.
