A Grand Forks resident, Kaiden Tyler Francis (20), sustained injuries in a weekend accident in Clearwater County, as reported by the Minnesota State Patrol.
Alcohol is suspected to have played a role.
Francis was driving a 2013 Nissan Frontier southbound on Highway 92 in Copley Township when he lost control of the vehicle, veering off the road and colliding with trees in the east ditch around 11 pm Saturday.
Emergency responders transported Francis to the ER in Bagley for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Fortunately, he was wearing a seatbelt, and road conditions were reported as dry.
