WARROAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Jason C. Tappe of Warroad, Minnesota, faces multiple charges for allegedly assaulting two young children, aged 12 months and two-and-a-half years. He is charged with four felony counts of first-degree assault, two counts of third-degree assault, and neglect of a child resulting in substantial harm. The children’s mother, Kaylie S. Krube, is charged with felony child neglect.
According to court documents, on May 16th, Krube brought her 12-month-old to the emergency room with multiple fractures. The child was transferred to Sanford in Fargo. The two-and-a-half-year-old was also evaluated, revealing numerous bruises but no fractures. Krube told authorities that she and the children live with Tappe, who watches them during the day while she works. During questioning, she admitted witnessing Tappe hitting the children. Tappe confessed only to spanking them and locking them in a bedroom for several hours while he drove for Uber.
