Clearwater County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Shevlin man faces new felony charges in two cases, court records show.
Kerry Wynne Lane, 55, of Shevlin, is charged with felony threats of violence.
He is also charged with felony domestic assault and gross misdemeanor harassment.
Threat allegations
A complaint says deputies took a report on February 20, 2026.
Two people said they were evicting Lane from a residence in Clearwater County.
They told deputies Lane left threatening voice and text messages.
Investigators reviewed the messages, the complaint says.
Lane allegedly warned it was “not a good day” to come to the home.
He also claimed friends were looking for one victim, according to the complaint.
Lane allegedly said he would “take him out” if the eviction continued.
Other messages warned someone would hurt the victim, the complaint says.
Lane also claimed ties to the Hells Angels, according to investigators.
Deputies later found Lane at a former workplace, the complaint says.
A preliminary breath test measured 0.371, according to the filing.
Lane was taken to a hospital for medical clearance, the complaint says.
There, he allegedly repeated threats toward the victim.

Domestic assault case
Lane also faces a felony domestic assault charge from December 26, 2025.
Deputies were called to a home on the 28000 block of 243rd Avenue.
A woman said Lane had been drinking and arguing, the complaint says.
She said he grabbed her hair as she tried to leave.
Both fell onto a couch, according to the complaint.
The woman said Lane took her keys and made a threat, the filing states.
Prior calls and history
The complaint notes an earlier call at the same address on December 2, 2025.
In that report, Lane allegedly locked the woman outside in five-degree weather.
Deputies also reported possible tampering with a vehicle battery, the filing says.
Court records listed prior domestic violence-related convictions, the complaint says.
They include a 2020 felony order-for-protection violation and a 2020 misdemeanor assault.
The filing also lists multiple driving while impaired convictions.
