GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) If flooding wasn’t enough to worry about, the National Weather Service in Grand Forks has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Northeast North Dakota and Northwest Minnesota.
well here’s a look at the Red River at East Grand Forks Grand Forks on a Thursday morning it’s at uh 37.45 feet and Rising expected to hit 43 feet by this weekend that could trigger some Bridge closings we’ll likely hear a lot more about that on this Thursday in the meantime Northeast North Dakota and Northwest Minnesota are in a winter storm warning couldn’t get enough of that in effect from 9 A.M this Thursday morning to 4 a.m on Friday heavy snow expected total accumulations of 6 to 14 inches with locally higher amounts possible winds gusting as high as 50 miles per hour again uh significantly reduce visibility from heavy snow rates and accumulating snow will make travel very difficult hazardous conditions will impact the Thursday and Friday commutes so with additional ongoing flooding and water filled ditches that’s uh making a good make driving very dangerous hitting a ditch in these conditions again be aware of that if you have any travel plans you better do them quick in Northeast Minnesota and Northwest Northeast North Dakota and Northwest of Minnesota I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
