Semi-Truck Rolls on I-90 in Olmsted County – Driver Hospitalized

Eyota Township, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) — A semi-truck rollover crash occurred at 8:19 AM on February 24, 2025, on eastbound Interstate 90 at Milepost 221 in Eyota Township, Olmsted County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2005 Peterbilt tractor, driven by 65-year-old Clay Alan Rinn of Goodview, MN, lost control and rolled. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but road conditions were reported as dry.

Emergency responders from the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Fire Department, Eyota Fire and Ambulance, Dover Fire, and MNDOT were dispatched to assist at the scene.

Rinn sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment. Officials confirmed that he was wearing a seatbelt, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The Minnesota State Patrol has marked the investigation as complete.
